Use of Force Requirements: Empowering Security Guards.

Use of force is Government Certification which is required by law for security guard to have in Ontario if he/she is using force. A licensed security guard may have to use force in certain situations.

Duties

Carrying handcuff and baton securely
Try to neutralize/calm the environment in case of aggressive environment
Inform Emergency services in case of violent behavior of attacker
Secure the site
Keep unnecessary bystanders away

Security guard may use force as in following case:

for the protection of people
to prevent the commission of an offence
to defend oneself, to protect a home or property

Our Guards are already trained on the program and could start the services within 1 hr of short notices of the services.

Take-down techniques
Suspect control techniques
Knife defence
Blocking techniques
Defensive tactics
